How we build

Weeks 1 to 3

Strip, prop, dig.

Walls opened, steels propped, footings dug and signed off by building control before we go a course higher.

Weeks 4 to 9

Up and watertight.

Blockwork, roof and glazing in. Your house stays sealed off behind dust screens while the shell goes up.

Weeks 10 to 14

Finished. Lived in.

Plaster, floors, electrics and decoration, then a walk round with you and a snag list we clear before handover.

Questions

Do you handle drawings and planning?

Yes. Our architectural designer draws the plans and we submit planning or lawful development applications for you, plus building regulations drawings.

Can we stay in the house during the build?

Almost always. We break through into the house as late as possible and keep dust screens and floor protection up throughout.

How do payments work?

In stages tied to finished work, set out in the contract before we start. Never a large deposit up front.

Are you insured and guaranteed?

Fully insured, and every extension and loft carries a 10 year insurance backed structural guarantee.
